OVERVIEW

MantaHQ is a backend-as-a-service platform that lets users generate APIs from their data effortlessly, without needing backend coding skills.
I worked on designing and shipping dynamic UI components that handle data input, live API previews, and real-time API generation. The platform empowers users to deploy functional APIs quickly while providing a responsive, intuitive interface that reduces development time and simplifies workflows. My work contributed to building a seamless experience from prototyping to production, with attention to usability, performance, and modularity.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was designing UI components that could handle highly dynamic and variable data structures while remaining intuitive and responsive. Another challenge was optimizing state management and live updates to ensure real-time API previews without slowing down the interface. Balancing flexibility for advanced users with simplicity for no-code users required careful design decisions and multiple iterations based on feedback.

My Contributions

I led the front-end design and implementation for MantaHQ, creating core UI components that allowed users to interact with their data and generate APIs without backend knowledge. I built dynamic interfaces for data input, live previews, and real-time API generation, significantly reducing time-to-deploy. I optimized REST API integration and state management, improving performance and responsiveness. Working alongside the core team, I shaped UI architecture, contributed to design decisions, and authored internal documentation. I also participated in UX iterations based on early user testing, ensuring the platform remained intuitive and effective for all users.
